Ivan Gontijo

Born in Rio de Janeiro on October 8, 1958, he graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Petrópolis, was a professor of Commercial Law at the Catholic University of Petrópolis and of Insurance Law at the Cândido Mendes Law School. He has been working in the insurance market for 37 years, having joined Grupo Bradesco Seguros in 1985. In 1998 he was elected Legal Director of Grupo Segurador. He currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Bradseg Participações S.A., Bradesco Seguros S.A., Bradseg Promotora de Vendas S.A., Bradesco SegPrev Investimentos Ltda. and BSP Affinity Ltd.

He is an effective member of the Board of Directors of Bradesco Vida e Previdência S.A., Bradesco Capitalização S.A., Bradesco Auto/RE Companhia de Seguros, Bradesco Saúde S.A., BSP Empreendimentos Imobiliários S.A., BSP Park Parques e Participações S.A., Odontoprev S.A., Fleury S.A. and Companhia Brasileira of Service Management, in the latter he is also a member of the Nomination, Succession and Compensation Committee. He acts as 1st Vice-President of the Board of Directors and member of the Management Board of the National Confederation of Insurance Companies – CNSEG and as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Insurance Companies – FENASEG.
